What is the Parasite?

 What is the Parasite?

The parasite is species that benefits while the other species is harmed, or a person who always depends on or benefits from others while giving nothing in return.
The relation between the movie's title and the plot is ironic because it represents how capitalists benefit from labor. Marx's point of view highlighted the fact that capitalism is based on commodities. Employee labor is a commodity because employees do not own any means of production and benefit only the capitalists.

This movie is about social class inequality, poverty, and the contrasts between treating rich and poor people. This film satirizes society's social existence, either metaphorically or theoretically, and demonstrates the relationship between Marxist theory and parasites. The way Bong Joon-ho portrays the story of social inequality in parasite reflects the reality of society in South Korea and around the world. He highlighted poverty, unfairness, and inequality. It is more of a message to people to look at the world through other people's eyes and recognize that life is actually unfair to some people.
